Ben Myburgh

Like many of the names found on this wall, Ben Myburgh was ultra competitive. He played soccer with endless energy and panache, driven to do everything he possibly could to achieve victory in each match. He served as captain his senior year and joins others at #9 on the career assists record and is #13 on the career goals list. His love, however, was basketball and here he excelled, scoring just shy of 20 points per game in his Senior year. He is #3 on the list for most three point field goals in a career and sits at #10 for most career assists. In his senior year he earned spots on the All- Tournament Teams at the ACSC Tournament finals in both basketball and soccer. Following high school, Ben went on to play basketball both in college, and professionally after college, in his native home of South Africa. Ben is a grand example of a Mustang who just loves to play.
