Charles “Coachie” Holsinger was Mr. Everything during Morrison Academy’s early years. “Coachie” helped start almost every current athletic program at Morrison. He even coached most of them at one time or another as well. He spent eight years as the men’s basketball coach and compiled a record of 114-49. As 12 years as head soccer coach produced a record 87-37-24. At the time of his induction, “Coachie” still had more wins than any other soccer coach in Morrison history. He also coached Morrison’s first undefeated soccer team in 1968. His team that season went 11-0-2 and is considered one of the best teams in school history. “Coachie” was also instrumental in the construction of both of Morrison’s gyms.
