James Grandi

James Grandi competed in sports at Morrison with a passion and joy which left a lasting memory for all those who watched him play. He was a solid defender on the back line in soccer repelling goal after goal and he anchored the post in basketball denying points in the paint and grabbing multiple rebounds each game. James was also one of Morrison’s top throwers in track and field. He holds the school record in the hammer throw at 44.04m (6m farther then the #2 thrower) and is second on the top ten lists in the shot put (14.11m ) and discus (42.04m).
