With passion and determination, Joel McKinlay was a three sport athlete that brought fear to his opponents and a fun-loving attitude to his teammates. Joel was a solid defender on the soccer pitch as he cut off many opponents from scoring goals. He brought this same intensity to the basketball court as he became the #4 all-time player with blocks in a season (57) which contributed to him becoming the #1 all-time player in career blocks with an astounding 142 total blocks. Joel’s strength and agility also helped him to be one of Morrison’s top throwers. He is currently #9 all-time in the Javelin (43.97m), #7 all-time in the Hammer throw (30.52m), #4 all-time in the 12 lb. Shot Put (13.84m) which all lead him to becoming the #4 all-time in the Throwers Pentathlon (2549 pts).
