A great all-around athlete, Linda Tomlinson was involved in most sports at Morrison. She played volleyball, ran track, was a key player on the basketball team and even dabbled in swimming. Linda is remembered as a tall, strong athlete with a big smile. While she contributed to all sports at Morrison Academy, her biggest contribution was seen on the basketball court. Her junior year, Linda was one of the team’s leading scorers and rebounders. She was also the team MVP. Linda returned to basketball her senior year to play on one Morrison’s strongest women’s basketball teams which went undefeated, finishing their season by bringing home the Honk Kong Basketball Tournament Trophy. Linda averaged 16 points a game that season and was co-MVP. Throughout her career, Linda averaged over 16 points per game and scored 714 points in her career.
