Robin Siirila made her athletic presence known at Morrison her freshman year as she made all the varsity teams. Before the year was over she had moved into starting positions on the volleyball and basketball teams, demonstrating her talent. During her years playing sports at Morrison the phrase, “I want to be like Robin”, was often heard. As MVP of the basketball team her senior year, she led her team in scoring with 19.3 points per game. At the time of her induction to the Hall of Fame she held the school career scoring record with 1660 points and was third in career rebounds with 761. In track and field she held the 4K shot put record (9.19m) for 7 years and is on the top ten lists in the 800, triple jump, pentathlon and 4 x 400 relay.
