Coach Bill Sergeant spent 24 years coaching the men’s track team, 16 years coaching the men’s basketball team, and seven years coaching the men’s soccer team. He won an impressive 214 games as the men’s basketball coach, including 8 Chopstick Games and two Hong Kong Invitationals (1984, 1988). Bill was best known for his skill in putting together successful track teams. Under his leadership, the Mustangs enjoyed a lopsided record against arch rival TAS with a record of 37 – 11. Through more than two decades, Bill’s leadership and organization has helped to maintain a rich athletic tradition that still remains today.
