Mandarin 3

This course focuses on increased fluency in speaking, listening comprehension, reading, and writing of the Chinese language. Students will be trained in the writing and reading of 100 Chinese characters in this course. Besides characters, students will learn roughly 640 vocabulary words and 30 some sentence patterns and be introduced to topics on Chinese culture. The main resource selected for this course is Chinese Made Easier Book 3 and Magical Tour of China 1&2. (Prerequisite: Mandarin 2 or teacher approval)
