Caroline Lai

Caroline Lai was known as a fiery player, full of energy. She always gave 100 percent and if she subbed out because of an injury you could be sure she would be eager to get back on the court in a matter of minutes. She was a varsity player in volleyball and basketball all four years of high school, and earned the MVP award both her junior and senior years in volleyball and senior year in basketball. Caroline was known for her toughness in the full court press and at the time of her induction to the Hall of Fame was #1 in career steals with 461. She was also seventh in career scoring with 887 points. She led her team to a Far East Basketball Single A Tournament championship in 2000.
